Hope to be able to run a half marathon with enough ease not to require huge recovery time.

Hope to be able to run frequently and long without major injury and joint pain as I grow older.

8:30 avg. pace. Hips felt a little better due to the rest. I've been swimming so my wind is pretty good still.
Another 5 on Walnut Hollow loop, slower today. Started out real slow and sped up at end, with avg. about 9:10 per mile.

8:40 avg pace. Planter fasciitis-type pain for the past few days.
